Liebermann / Froehde / Marquis Reagent Charts
These are using the complete tables (over 100 substances) for each reagent
Use the search criteria (colour seen) for each reagent to indicate the possible substances for the colour response seen for the respective reagent e.g. Brown (Liebermann), Green (Froehde), Purple (Marquis) = MDMA (Ecstasy). Then when all the results are visible scan across to see which substance is common to the colour responses. Use 2 x's (xx) in the search criteria box to clear that reagents listings if not required (clear the search criteria when finished). Use the other combined search tables to assist Marquis / Mandelin / Mecke or Liebermann / Mecke / Marquis
Just use 3 characters to define colour so you get all colour responses e.g. blu for blue/bluish etc. Type "No reaction" if no reaction is seen. Use some of the tips on the Overview/Testing page to achieve better colour recognition.
We will try and add a colour spectrum aspect to the charts so that a purple input will also give "similar" colours e.g. violet. At present you will need to do this manually.
You can also search by substance to see what colour should be produced/seen. However, this table is best used for finding the possible substances from a particular colour response.
Note: a "no reaction" (listed in charts) is a positive response and hence can be used to assist in identification, but only if stated on chart.
This is best suited for a screen that can show all 3 tables at the same time side by side. For mobile devices (small screen) open multiple browser tabs of the same page, and view for each reagent per tab once search criteria entered so can switch between each easily to see/compare results.
